JEFFREY ATKIN
Jeffrey Atkin is a portfolio manager and principal of Kunath Karren Rinne & Atkin, joining the firm in 1986. In addition to facilitating meetings of the Investment Committee and managing stock and balanced portfolios for our clients, Jeff holds primary responsibility for equity research and analysis.
Prior to joining KKRA, Jeff was a founding partner of Cable, Howse & Ragen in Seattle and a Vice President of Research at Foster & Marshall. Jeff began his career in the investment business as Vice President of Research at Piper, Jaffray & Hopwood in 1972, moving from Minneapolis to their Seattle office shortly after he was hired.
Jeff is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and an active member and Past President of the Seattle Society of Financial Analysts. He is also a Supervisory Analyst as authorized by the New York Stock Exchange. Jeff is frequently quoted in the Northwest press and invited to appear on Northwest television and radio news programs to discuss issues affecting local companies, particularly those in the retail sector. He is Past President of Pilchuck Glass School and currently serves on its Board, as well as The Board of PONCHO. Jeff has over 34 years of investment experience.
